Antonio Cassano urges Inter Milan to give away Lautaro Martinez and replace him with French footballer Alexandre Lacazette. Martinez has been turned out to be a great interest for the Spanish club Barcelona. The reports suggest they are very much interested in him and a deal is being readied by the Spanish club. Since Barcelona are a big club and the transfer appeal would be essentially high. The Covid 19 has affected most of the clubs financially and this deal will be a great saviour to Inter Milan.
Martinez exchange with Barcelona will eventually help Inter. The finance from the deal can be used to bring other valuable players to the team. He was signed to Milan from Racing in 2018 and he has contributed 25 goals in 65 appearances.
“Lautaro is very good, but I would sell him. You bought him for €20m and sell him for over €100m. Or even get €70m to €80m and Arthur. Then I would go for [Edinson] Cavani, who is on an expiring contract and would be perfect for Conte,” said Cassano.
French international Lacazette can be taken as a replacement. He has been exceptional in Premier League and can score a goal when needed. He will be a good asset to the team.
Cassano suggests bringing Edinson Cavani to the squad. The Uruguay international is coming to the end of his contract in PSG and this will be a good moment to speak a deal with him. With the arrival of Mauro Icardi in the club, Cavani has almost lost his position in the team.
Icardi was given to PSG in loan from Inter Milan and he is another player that the club should focus on. He is most likely to stay with PSG or to move another European club. Antonio Conte should look out for all the opportunities to make a better team. Cassano feels that Cavani and Lacazette will be a good replacement for the absence of Martinez in the team.
