After Juventus’ hard-fought victory over managerless Spezia, Angel Di Maria has realized that “Italian football is generally very difficult.” He now turns his attention to Nantes in the Europa League. The Old Lady put in a far cry from their best, but they got the job done thanks to substitute Di Maria’s snooker shot and Moise Kean’s scuffed volley from a Filip Kostic cross.

After Thursday’s 1-1 Europa League play-off draw with FC Nantes, Fideo was initially not expected to play at all due to a muscular concern, but he came off the bench and scored that goal after just 10 minutes. He was reminded that he was Juve’s answer to Mr. Wolf, the problem-solving cleaner from Pulp Fiction. I want to help the team whether I start the game or off the bench. The World Cup winner told DAZN, “I am very happy to have scored, because, after the assist for Rabiot against Nantes, I wanted to be on the scoresheet too.”

Mancini Talks about Italy Not Missing Out on World Cup Again

Roberto Mancini, the current manager of the national team Italy, has much to say about Italy’s failure to qualify for the World Cup twice in a row. He hopes that his country never misses out on participating in the forthcoming World Cup tournaments. He admits that EURO 2020 was a win that was like a full circle achieved for the Sampdoria team. This was especially so since they had lost in the finals of the European Cup at the same venue, Wembley Stadium.

Azzurri’s team is being forced to watch the current World Cup from the sidelines this year. When the playoffs happened in March they lost out to North Macedonia. Initially, they had finished second in the qualifying rounds, just behind Switzerland. Mancini informed the media that the national team was very disappointed for not qualifying this year. Italy is a team that has always been a top contender in the World Cup. This had been the trend before 2018 and had been so since 1958. There had not been an instance when Italy missed out on participating in the World Cup, twice in a row.

NEWCASTLE UNITED PLOT ELEVENTH-HOUR MOVE FOR TIEMOUE BAKAYOKO

According to a fresh report from Italian outlet Calciomercato, Newcastle United have joined Nottingham Forest in the race to sign forgotten Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko. The news comes as AC Milan, who currently have the Frenchman on loan, intend to offload him by cutting short his two-year loan transfer in half.

It is easy to forget that Bakayoko is actually still a Chelsea player. The former AS Monaco star moved to Stamford Bridge in 2017 in a reported £40 million deal. But after only one season in England, the French midfielder has spent the last four seasons on loan outside the Premier League. The 28-year-old is currently halfway through a two-year loan spell with AC Milan but could see his latest temporary agreement cut short having fallen out of favour under Stefano Pioli. Newly-promoted Serie A side Monza are regarded as the favourites to capture Bakayoko before the transfer deadline this week.

Under Antonio Conte, there appears to be no future for the versatile defender, who is capable of playing on the right and centrally.

Tanganga has not been involved in Tottenham’s first three games of the season, as the north London club are actively looking for solutions before the transfer deadline. The significant interest has come from Serie A clubs, with AS Roma, Inter Milan, and AC Milan all keen on signing the versatile defender.

INTER MILAN VS SPEZIA PREVIEW: PROBABLE LINEUPS  TEAM NEWS AND PREDICTION

Inter Milan will be keen to secure Scudetto glory again after falling short against arch-rivals AC Milan last season in the Serie A title race. They were, however, far from convincing in the season opener against Lecce and had to rely on a 95th-minute winner from Denzel Dumfries to secure all three points. A return to home comforts is on the cards, and the Nerazzurri will be aiming to treat their fans with a match-winning display.

Spezia have never defeated Inter in their history and will have a tough ask this weekend. I Aquilotti had the second worst defence in the Italian top flight last season and largely employed an entertaining brand of football under Thiago Motta. He was, however, replaced by Luca Gotti despite guiding the side to a 16th-placed finish.
