Alex Sandro commits his future to Juventus until June 2023

Brazil international Alex Sandro has ended the ongoing speculation regarding his future by penning a new long-term deal with Italian champions Juventus. The left-sided defender previously had only 18 months remaining on his contract and it had been suggested that he could fancy a potential move to the Premier League.

However, that doubt has been put to bed by the Brazilian, who has now extended his Bianconeri deal until the end of the 2022/23 campaign. Speaking to the club’s official website, he said:”Today for me, my family and also for my teammates is a very happy day. To the fans I would like to say that I will always give my best, as I have done so far, and to keep improving. In the years that I’ve been here I learnt the mentality of the club and of my teammates. Here we always work to win and this will never change.”

In an interview with The Mirror, Dybala was asked about the recent speculation linking him with Manchester United but his response was quite clear with no pinch of desire to leave the Turin giants, he said: “I’m not thinking about the transfer market. Right now I’m really happy at Juventus and the focus is simply winning all the titles here.”
