Real Madrid loaneeBrahim Diaz has said that he’s happy at Italian football giants AC Milan and that the focus is on securing a place in the Champions League next season. Diaz is on loan at Italian football club Milan from parent club Real Madrid.

Diaz left Spain to join the Rossoneri on loan at the start of this campaign and he has contributed his own quota to the club’s quest to return to the Champions League after several years in the Europa League.

The Real Madrid loanee stressed the importance of playing Champions League football for a big club like Milan in an interview with Sportsmediaset. According to him, the Champions League is an important competition and it means a lot for Milan to qualify.

On his future at the club, Diaz said that his focus is on helping Milan as he has received a lot of support from the fans. It remains to be seen if Milan would sign him permanently this summer or he would go back to Real Madrid.

Diaz spoke about Milan, Champions League and his future at the San Siro in the chat with Sportsmediaset ahead of the visit of Cagliari in the league. A win for Milan at home to Cagliari will guarantee their return to the Champions League.

Real Madrid loanee Diaz said footballers including himself dreamed about playing in the Champions League and that he would be delighted if the Rossoneri can play in the competition next season.

Diaz has scored four goals in 25 games for Milan in the Italian Serie A this season including two goals in the last two games. He was on target for Milan in the crucial win at fellow Italian football giants Juventus. The Real Madrid loanee scored one of the goals in a 3-0 win over the Old Lady before repeating the same feat in the 7-0 thrashing of hosts Torino last weekend.
