Italian football giants Juventus have made an opening bid for highly rated Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli according to various reports coming out of the media in Italy.
The Juventus offer turned down by Sassuolo for Locatelli is€30m plus youth players. Premier League giants Arsenal offered more for the Italian international. The Gunners are said to have offered €40m in cash plus €5m in add-ons for the player.
Italian football giants Juventus have made a formal proposal for Locatelli for the first time. Sky Sports Italiadisclosed that the Old Lady made a bid to sign Locatelli for one or two seasons with the obligation to buy for €30m plus bonuses if certain conditions are met.
In terms of finance, Arsenal have the edge over the Old Lady but their main issue is with the player who has his sights set on a move to Juventus. The Italian football giants are confident that they would get their man ahead of the Gunners since it’s clear the 23-year-old wants to play for the two-time European champions.
Juventus have to include youth players in a deal to sign Locatelli and the likes of NicoloRovella, RadeDragusin, NicoloFagioli, Felix Correa and GianlucaFrabotta have been mentioned according to the report from Corrieredello Sport.
Italian player Locatelli came through the Milan ranks before he left to join Sassuolo on loan. Sassuolo turned his loan deal to a permanent deal for €14m.
