Andrea Pirlo not entirely impressed with AC Milan’s new winter signing

Former AC Milan star Andrea Pirlo has said that he is not entirely convinced with the abilities of Lucas Paqueta. The Brazilian joined the Rossoneri from Flamengo during the winter transfer window and he has since impressed with his skill, flair and confidence on the playing field for the Milan giants.

Amidst this, there have been comparisons between Kaka and Paqueta of late but Pirlo has indicated that the Rossoneri’s winter recruit can even be compared to the former in any aspect. He added that the Brazilian has the potential to become a good player, although that does not mean likening him to former Milan favourite Kaka.

Former Liverpool star urges Aaron Ramsey to secure Juventus challenge

Former Liverpool star John Toshack has urged Aaron Ramsey to take up the opportunity of joining Juventus when his Arsenal contract expires at the end of the season. The Wales international has already been declined a new deal with the Gunners and he is currently free to discuss pre-contract terms with an overseas club.

Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, Toshack said that the Welshman should take up the chance of joining the Bianconeri, given he would get to work alongside the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo. He added that the midfielder has not been lucky in terms of injuries over the years and he could transform his fortunes with the Bianconeri by winning more trophies.

Alex Sandro commits his future to Juventus until June 2023

Brazil international Alex Sandro has ended the ongoing speculation regarding his future by penning a new long-term deal with Italian champions Juventus. The left-sided defender previously had only 18 months remaining on his contract and it had been suggested that he could fancy a potential move to the Premier League.

However, that doubt has been put to bed by the Brazilian, who has now extended his Bianconeri deal until the end of the 2022/23 campaign. Speaking to the club’s official website, he said:”Today for me, my family and also for my teammates is a very happy day. To the fans I would like to say that I will always give my best, as I have done so far, and to keep improving. In the years that I’ve been here I learnt the mentality of the club and of my teammates. Klopp thinks positivity helps on big occasions

Jurgen Klopp reckons that Liverpool – Manchester United is the kind of match for which no hype is necessary because the match already carries a lot of importance. Technically it’s just another Premiership match for the two teams, but if anyone from the two camps says that they don’t have that little bit of extra excitement about this game in comparison to other Premiership games, then that will be lying, because this match matters a LOT for people from both camps.

According to Klopp, while it’s a huge match, Liverpool won’t be doing anything different to what they have been doing in the Premiership so far – the process needs to remain the same. But the mindset has to be positive. Because when you put in your efforts thinking positively, more often than not you end up fetching the positive results.

Paulo Dybala not looking to leave Juventus

Argentina international Paulo Dybala has stressed that he is not looking to pursue a fresh challenge away from Juventus in the near future. The 25-year-old experienced a tough start to the season where gametime was hard to come by but he has sorted the concern over the past few months after having returned into the good books of manager Max Allegri.

In an interview with The Mirror, Dybala was asked about the recent speculation linking him with Manchester United but his response was quite clear with no pinch of desire to leave the Turin giants, he said: “I’m not thinking about the transfer market. Right now I’m really happy at Juventus and the focus is simply winning all the titles here.”
