Sarri gives warning to Miralem Pjanic about attitude

Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri has warned Miralem Pjanic to behave like a great player. With his current attitude, he will be unable to make it to the first team of the club. He has played across 32 matches for the club in this season andhas only scored three goals.

Before the suspension of the league in March, his performance in the game was not up to the mark. They had a genuine concern for him as he had been replaced many times in the game. In the match against Napoli, he was called off the pitch after 50 minutes of playing time where Juventus faced defeat for 2–1. In the Champions League, his performance against Lyon wasn’t satisfactory.

Sarri has told Sky Sports Italia that he is a great player and a player like him shouldn’t be underperforming in more than two matches. Sarri has spoken with him and he isn’t unable to return from the bad matches he has played. He also said that a player can make a mistake but should be able to react to it.

Another problem Sarri is facing in the league is the presence of two phenomenal players like Paulo Dybala and Cristiano Ronaldo. They both have a similar playing style and it is difficult to initiate them together on the team. Both of the players will be able to make a difference on the pitch but for them to coexist on the field is difficult. He wants his team to be good in both defensive and attacking mode.

Serie A will be beginning in this month and Juventus will be having their first match against Bologna on June 22. Before that, they have a face AC Milan in the semi-final of Coppa Italia. Juventus is currently leading the table with one point ahead of Lazio who stands second and nine points from Inter who is standing on the third position. Even though Juve is leading Sarri is not ready to take any chances.

“With 12 or 13 games to play, anything is possible. Losing points at this point is very easy. Nobody knows where we are. We’ll only discover on the pitch,” said Sarri.
