Italian football giants Juventus have made an opening bid for highly rated Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli according to various reports coming out of the media in Italy.

Juventus and Sassuolo officials met on Friday afternoon to discuss Locatelli for the second time. Officials from the two clubs had earlier met this month to talk about the Italian international. Juventus made their first offer for Locatelli during the latest meeting and it was turned down by Sassuolo. Italian football giants Juventus are still favourites ahead of Arsenal in the quest to sign the midfielder despite the rejected bid.
